Welcome to the May 2024 edition of 'The Lookout'

Kia ora koutou

Welcome to the May edition of The Lookout, bringing you a global perspective on issues that matter.

In this edition, we put In Focus the recent Socrates Seminar on The Future of Business, which served as an invaluable platform for engaging discussions and emphasised the imperative for strategic foresight and collaborative action in business.

Leadership in Action celebrates Aspen moderator and University of Otago politics professor, Robert Patman, who received the prestigious 2024 Critic and Conscience of Society Award for his commitment to educating the public and decision-makers on issues relating to international relations. Followed by In Depth, which examines the latest OECD Economic Survey of NZ, highlighting both challenges and opportunities ahead.

Coming up this week, we are excited to run our new Evidence and Values Based Decision Making course (EVBDM), in collaboration with the Parliamentary Education Trust, exclusively for all Members of Parliaments in Wellington. Contact us for more information or to book the transformative EVBDM course for your organisation.

As always, feel free to customise the content in a way that works for you, and to share it with friends. We hope you enjoy it!
