Welcome to The Lookout, bringing you a global perspective on issues that matter.

In our latest edition, we put In Focus our newest course Evidence and Values Based Decision Making (EVBDM) held at Waitangi last week. Leadership in Action reviews the Institute's latest report on the World's Leading Sports Systems and how effective governance impacts on a nation's sporting results. Followed by In Depth, where we consider What Impact AI Will Really Have, revealing some key insights and informative articles to help navigate this rapidly evolving technology.

In the new year, we're planning for the Aspen NZ 2024 Summer Series on 'Great Power Upheaval' to kick off in Auckland, followed by the Institute's renowned Socrates Programme to held in Queenstown.  However, if you want to get ahead of the curve, make better decisions, and prevent costly mistakes, group bookings for our new course, EVBDM, are now open for 2024.  

We'd like to wish our two Aspen NZ alumni, Peter Southey-Jensen and Parminder Kaur selected to attend the Institute's Youth Democracy Workshop in Berlin a safe and rewarding visit. We look forward to hearing from them upon their return.
